I have not done total research on all these domains yet but it appears that many of them lacked content, page rank and YES.....TRAFFIC. These are the 3 biggest things. Over the past 10 months or so I have been involved with several projects from day 1 of development. While none of these names were auctioned off this year, watch for them to make noise next year. It is key to develop these domains as we continue to see a need for developed domain names. Right now, domain investing could not be more inviting to anyone who wishes to join the likes of kevin ham, mark mearin, rick swartz etc. It all comes down to development. I personally use the ireporter publishing tool and I take full advantage of it's video capabilities.
At the super bowl this year my videos brought in over 30,000 views just like that. If you want to make money from home by developing domain names I suggest purchasing a video camera. I use the hand held RCA, works fine for me and was only $120 bucks.
Sports videos generate tons of traffic and right now I am loading up on RAW spring training videos that I will be recording over the next 5 weeks.
